Owain Glyndwr and Margaret Hanmer's Wedding

As part of Dosbarth 3's RVE sessions researching about Owain Glyndwr, we discovered he married Margaret Hanmer in St Chad's Church! 

So the children decided to have a reenactment at St Chad's Church, possibly where Margaret Hanmer worshipped, which created a powerful connection to history.

Father Jeremy very kindly took the service with a heartwarming personal touch.

After further research into Christian Wedding traditions, including the bridal party and wedding cake, we made sure we kept to the traditions and made it a festive and engaging experience.
