Governing Body

One of the most important things about running a school is good communication between everyone involved - children, staff, parents, governors, friends, neighbours and visitors and this website is certainly a step in the right direction. We hope that you find it useful and refer back to it often.

Governors at St Chad’s take our responsibilities very seriously. We are involved in supporting Mrs Nicola Locker and the rest of the school to deliver the best possible educational experience to the children that come to our school. We manage the budget for salaries, running costs, maintenance and equipment. We are involved in developing policies and procedures and key staff appointments. The most important role we have is monitoring school's progress, working with Mrs Locker and the staff to set annual targets.

We are delighted by the continued improvement in school standards and attainment over the past few years, and we are very proud of the hard work of our children and staff in achieving and building on these. We are confident this will be a continuing process.
